It is something that can only be described as the spirit of SGPS. It is not something that can be accurately expressed with words alone. It is the Presence of God Almighty, felt in the hallways of the school and in the hearts of the St. Gregory’s family. It is His Presence heard in the words of the Crusader Creed and the no-bullying statement; and seen in the servant hands that reach deep into the community.
But that’s not all. The spirit of St. Gregory’s also derives from the understanding, the confidence and the preparedness that is acquired through solid education. It is a mixture of faith, academics, service, and community—a sensation one realizes only when faith and knowledge meet.
That spirit is something our benefactors not only recognize but share and support. In so doing, they’ve made it possible for our students to flourish as intellectual and spiritual beings—becoming Catholic scientists, missionaries, entrepreneurs, and journalists, even consecrated religious. They have helped St. Gregory’s ParishSchool supply our world with dependable and honorable leaders, as well as responsible and moral civic members. So we thank them.
